Tri-bars
Submitted by hodgsot on 12 January 2008 - 6:14pm.Two pairs of tri-bars available:
3TTT Bio-Arms (as used by David Millar) - as new £25
Cinelli Corna Tri-bars - these use Spinachi-type fittings - £15
Note that both sets of bars need standard diameter handlebars for fitting. Oversize won't work unless you mount them wide of the central section on o/size bars.

NECCA League Round 3 / Hetton Hawks Lost Kit
Submitted by Anonymous on 16 December 2007 - 7:43pm.Just done the NECCA League Round 3 / Hetton Hawks cyclo cross race today and left my kit in a black bin bag somewhere in the clubhouse. Club shirt was in there (Barrrow Central Wheelers). I would be very grateful to get them back if anyone has any info.

Annual Training Plan
Submitted by hodgsot on 18 September 2007 - 10:26pm.The first thing I would want any serious rider to do is have an annual plan. I've attached one here that is adapted from the standard British Cycling annual planner. Mine has a peak and trough trend line on it and the example shows how different periods of training can be used. It is based on an actual one developed for a successful Southern rider.
Coaching Support
Submitted by hodgsot on 18 September 2007 - 10:09pm.This is to introduce a new Forum to advise on coaching related
matters. File attachments will be added as necessary to assist any
enquiries. Although I will lead this Forum, other coaches may add
comments or content as they wish. All I ask is that the advice is
grounded in good practice!
So, you shouldn't hear anything
about getting bathed in vinegar as a way of improving recovery (yes,
honestly) - but you might hear about the benefits of eating a sandwich
within thirty minutes of training to do the same thing.
