Hiya Everyone,

Last Friday night after school, myself and Emma B travelled down to Manchester for an early start on the track on Saturday. Emma B and I were invited to ride in a interclub competiton between Eastlands Velo and Newcastle-Under-Lyme. I did a 30 lap scratch race and Emma B did 10 laps, a devil, then a killometer team pursuit and then a killometer scratch race.

The race I really enjoyed the most was the 30 lap scratch race I mainly enjoyed that race the best because of the speed and the close riding in the bunch. I also realy enjoyed the team pursuit because I like to bury myself and the speed was really good. In my team pursuit we got into the same straight as the other team that was a really good feeling when you see the riders getting closer to you. The 4 lap scratch race was just a really fast race it was over in about 3 minutes because lots of people kept attacking off the front.

Emma B seemed to really enjoy the team pursuit the most because she really wanted to do another one but we did not have time.

p.s. My dad has got a new cross bike. Unfortunatly its too big for me I told him to go with the 52 but he didn`t take notice and went and got the one too big for me but don`t tell him I have my eyes on the tyres.
