Hiya everyone,

A bit of an update sorry it's late.

The League 2000 presentation was held as usual at the Southlands Centre in Middlesborough,well done to all the Hawks who took part this year especially Keir who did really well in his catagory and Roshan who won most improved rider.I have some certificates and money for those Hawks who weren't at the presentation I will bring them to Hetton next time I'm there. The following Sunday Emma B, Thomas Mien and myself went to Preston to ride in the city centre race. Thomas came 3rd in his age group.Emma B did really well in her race as well but I didn't ride well at all. I don't know what was wrong with my legs but they just wouldn't go well. I was disappointed but pleased for Emma and Thomas.

Last Saturday myself and Emma B went back to the track at Manchester to train with the Eastlands Velo club. The training is really good and its a great help to both of us to improve our track skills. Thanks to all the coaches at Eastlands. Yesterday Emma B returned to the track to do another session but I went to the AGM at Hetton.

It was time to elect the club officals and boys and girls captains for the coming year. I was pleased to be re elected as girls club captain and thanks to everyone who voted for me. Joe decided not to stand for club captain this time. He has done an excellent job Well done Joe we will miss the mountain biking updates though, mayby you could still keep us updated (or I will have to take up mountain biking!!). Welcome to the new boys club captain Josh Moody good luck and welcome to the world of blog writing! Stephen is standing down as the club secretary a post he has held since the club began(I think) but he is still going to be around to help out to advise on the running of the club.

Next Saturday myself and Emma B are racing at the track in an interclub competiton. Its my first time racing on the track so I will let you all know how we get on.
