Hiya Everyone, Last week started with training at Bradford on Monday night. It was cold but we had a really good session covering about 30 mile. On Wednesday Emma B and I went to the turbo session at Newcastle Phoenix, these are really good workouts but for some reason there wasn't many there, its normally well attended. To warm down we went on the rollers and tried riding with no hands!!! once we mastered that we tried no hands and one leg!! Very tricky but we did it.!!! We were all looking forward to Bradford on Saturday, but due to a couple of inches of snow on the circuit it was cancelled. Very disappointing as we were expecting a good turn out from the Hawks. We missed Hetton and had to look for other places to ride. I foolishly chose to go with Jamie and friends to Chopwell Woods. At home I left behind cold, bright and windy weather to find snow blizzards at Chopwell. It was so bad we only got 3 miles in and had to take cover in the van. When we came out the bikes were completely covered in snow making it difficult to recognise them. We decided to come back to our house and Emma and I did a session on the rollers, Jamie supervised and my Dad lay on the settee and watched Milan San Remo on Eurosport. Thanks to the weather I spent a lot of time on the rollers at the weekend. Next Sunday it's the Cleveland Circuit race, hopefully the weather will be kinder to us. Hope to see some of you there.
