Happy New Year to all members and parents!  Having had a bit of discussion with our coaches and committee members, we are reluctantly cancelling the session this Saturday in view of the continuing Winter conditions. 

The snow is too heavy for our younger riders and access to and from the Country Park may be very difficult.  We had scheduled a handicapped 'cross race for this Saturday.  Stayed tuned to the website for an announcement about next Saturday, 16th January. 

We realise that many of you have BRAND NEW bikes you want to ride as soon as possible, so sorry about this.  In order to cheer everyone up, I attach two photographs.  One is of my car with a new two-tone paint job (white and red), the other is of my dog, who quite likes snow but doesn't have a clue about traffic.  I'm sure everyone has got similar photos. 

Normal Hetton service will be resumed as soon as possible!
