Yesterday (Sunday) was the North Champs (Cyclo Cross). I wasn't at Hetton on Saturday as no one came and woke me up which was unusual. Guess Thomas couldn't be bothered to annoy me! Anyway, I got up on Sunday morning at 7ish to leave for Wakefield at 8. We arrived at 10 for Adam and Thomas and Emma to get warmed up.
Adam was off first and did really well getting 2nd place. It was very close race in the end. Well done. Thomas and Emma's race was won by Reece Wood and Thomas was a close 2nd after hitting a tree. Emma was first girl.
My dad was racing in the Vets and that was hilarious as he came off at the bottom of the hill and splashed the people at the bottom who were watching. Click - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xBN38Gf91k&feature=channel to see him and a couple of others fall off!!
