Hello every one, Im writing this after having a good old hose down to get the piles of mud off me!!! I was racing in the Richmond race today, and what a race. The muddiest, wettest and dirtiest race ever. At the start line there were the bight colour jerseys, but by the second lap we were all the same, clarty brown. There were a few new faces I'd never seen before, who race in the Richmond League. The course was great, a sandpit and muddy slippery climbs and even a river that wasnt supposed to be there but because of the rain, it appeared. Our race lasted for about 50 minutes, but seemed like 50 days haha.

I came a respectable 6th U14 and worked very hard for it. There were 24 of us altogether in U14/U16. It would have made a good Hetton Team - Alex 4th, Max 5th, Joe(me)6th, Elliot 7th

U12 race was a really muddy race too, it lasted for a wet, cold 10 minutes because of the conditions. Needless to say Thomas Mein 1st U12 and Jack Davidson 1st U10
