just thought i'd tell everyone who wasnt there about the club ride that was on last saturday over at ponteland...

we all met up at ponteland for just before 10, and set off at 10... we then headed over to ( i cant remember were we went actualy, maybe tony can tell you's all :) )

we split up into 2groups with the stronger people in one group and the younger ones in the other ( and the realy old ones...lol )

we made our way along some cracking roads, making use of everything we've learned at saturdays training at hetton...

my group set a reasonable pace and we were soon at the cafe after some challenging little climbs and the odd sprint for signs...

everyone met up at the cafe and had a good chat and a nice bit of cake, we all road back to ponteland together, although the faster riders broke away near the end after SOME of us forgot it was a club ride and not a race, and decided to step the pace up...

it was a great ride, and a good change from hetton on saturdays,it would be good to see a few more faces turn up next time, and remember no one will get left behind !!!

Although im sure we all could of went faster with hettons new time trial helmtets ( NOT !!! )
