Can you believe its Christmas Eve? I'm up early to help get prepared. My job is helping to prepare the food and setting the table but first I'm going out for a run.

i just thought i'd wright a short blog wishing everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year.

well i hope you are all still cycling over the holidays i've taken the oppotunity to train everyday just putting a fairly fast hour in.

i'm tempted to train on christmas day just so i can say i have and so that christmas dinner has less of an impact.
thats if i can be free from the family.

well i hope you all get what you want from santa and i'll see you all probably in the new year.

Alex and Dave have done a great job of planning the Road ride that will replace the coaching session on Saturday.

3 starting points for the ride have been planned, each with different distances. The 1st group sets off early from start point 1 and cycles to start point 2. The riders at start point 2 join the 1st group and cycle to start point 3. The whole group then cycles to a cafe at Elsdon.

The return will depend upon the riders who turn out and will be optimised for rider abilities.

Well done to all the riders who braved the rain and turned out for Saturday's session. Some wonderfully decorated hats were on display ... well done to everyone who participated in the Hetton Hawks Xmas tradition !

I am afraid I was unable to stay until the final presentation. Many thanks to Alex and Julie for helping out and Scotty for taking the pics.

If you were not able to attend.. don't worry your Xmas present is in a safe place, please collect it at the next session.

The 2nd Hetton Hawks Roller racing event will be taking place at Robin Todd Centre, Front Street, South Hetton, County Durham, DH6 2TH (look out for Mural on side of building).
