Katie's Quick Blog
Submitted by katie m on 16 March 2010 - 7:23pm.Hiya. As I said I would get on my bike, I actually did on Tuesday & Thursday, at Newburn, last week. Even though Jamie nearly killed me on the Tuesday- because I'm now soo unfit- I quite enjoyed it. I'm not going tonight but I'll be going on Thursday night.
I haven't got time to write anything else becsause my mam is chucking me out the house so we can go to Asda & IKEA. Great! :(

Joes Dolan Race
Submitted by joe mann on 15 March 2010 - 8:11pm.I'm doing the Dolan Race Series on Saturdays at the minute, there are 3 races to do. The first race went OK. Charlie Tanfield won U14 by a long shot. There were 29 riders in my race, first we had a 12 lap race then our second race was another 12 laps, all on the flat though. When I checked my bike computer for that days racing including my rollering and warming up before and in between the two races, I did 51 mile. So on Sunday I did absolutely NOWT.

Joes Southport Race
Submitted by joe mann on 7 March 2010 - 6:35pm.Hello everyone - I thought you might like to know how I got on in my race on Saturday. First of all it was a verrrrry early morning, I was up at 4.30 am to get on my travels for 5.30 am, signing on was at 9 am at Southport for my race. There were about 29 pre-entries then another 16 or so signed on the line, making there about 45 in my race, which was scary. There were two races for each age cat. The first one was 6 laps where I did well, the second race was a lot longer and I got off on a good start near the front line and about 8 laps in there was a crash, with two riders.

Submitted by joe mann on 5 March 2010 - 7:24pm.Last week we had a couple of presentation nights for the cross races....
TLI Presentation - me and Elliot came joint 3rd and came away with a certificate and a goodie bag, and I won a jigsaw on the raffle. So I'm afraid my dad hasnt been training much this week because he's spent pretty much all of his spare time on the jigsaw. Its called Parcel for Canal Cottage :-) its sort of a biking theme as it has two bikes in the picture (yeah right..) Anybody wanting it next, please leave your details HAHA.

Croft BC Race
Submitted by joe mann on 20 February 2010 - 3:17pm.The usual suspects turned out for this, the 1st road race of the season, the weather was spot on. There was even a burger van to keep us topped up with burgers, chips, chicken nuggets and drinks. The U14 winner was Matty Worton, U12 winner was Angus Brown, U10 winner was Paul Errington and U8 winner was Aaron Brown. Notice anything?????
